We Will Not Be Silent consists of six snapshots of 15 seconds each that record in a poetic and fragmentary way the preparations for the opera-performance “Noah’s Ark” presented at the Athens Epidaurus Festival in 2020 (direction, sets and costumes by Vassilis Noulas and Kostas Tzimoulis / VASKOS). The different sounds (lyrical songs, musical improvisations, sounds of nature, pop songs) reflect the polyphony that characterizes the show and create a hybrid, multicultural landscape from which springs out claims and demands that concern us all, in the here and now.
