Iris Touliatou is a visual artist based in Athens. Touliatou works across various disciplines which are necessary for each intervention. Examining infrastructures and function, attachment and desires, the public and private, Touliatou raises questions on the conditions of artistic production and the institutional frames within which it exists.

For phenomenon 5, Touliatou decided to offer a service that the citizens of the island were missing during wintertime. On this occasion, she collaborated with Fotis Mestousakis and set up a hair salon to the Former Citizen Service Center offering hairdressing services for free for the duration of three days.
