All the Things You Can’t Forget, 2005
An installation on opposing walls. One wall is painted black with the text “All the things you can’t forget” written in white, placed almost as subtitles would appear on a film. The opposite wall, “The Shadow of the Past,” is a blank, white wall with dimmed lighting. It has the same method of illumination as the rest of the room, only with significantly reduced wattage, giving a yellowish, nostalgic coloring to the wall and shadow. A wall label indicating title, etc. is placed on this wall.
