TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If I am applying as an organization, the non-for-profit status of my organization (e.g. AMKE, somateia, etc.) must be clearly stated in its official documents.

I confirm that I already have a bank account in a Greek bank linked to my organization or to myself –if applying as an individual– before applying.

If I am awarded the grant, I will provide a valid legal document acknowledging receipt of the funds. I confirm that as an individual or organization, I am legally allowed to receive a grant.

If I am awarded the grant, the funds will be provided directly to me or the organization I lawfully represent following the conclusion of a grant agreement with the Phenomenon Association.

I declare that I am responsible for all taxation (e.g., tax declarations) in Greece or under any other impacted jurisdiction impacted by the project.

I will use the funds within the specified timeframe as stated in the grant agreement and in my application. Any unspent amounts may need to be returned, and the sponsorship cannot automatically be transferred beyond the agreed project period without prior approval.

I understand that the Phenomenon Association reserves the right to request additional documentation and/or reports demonstrating that the grant was used for its intended purpose.

I confirm that all information submitted in my application is true and, if requested, I will provide supporting documents as evidence. If any inaccurate or misleading statements are found, I understand that my application may be withdrawn from the evaluation process or the grant may be revoked.

If there are any significant changes to my project, including timeline modifications or cancellations, I will inform the Phenomenon Association promptly and in advance.

For transparency purposes, I will disclose the grant support in all external communications and materials related to the funded activity (e.g., invitations, posters, websites, social media, mailings, publications, exhibition plans). A specific logo and pre-approved wording will be provided. I understand that any deliberate failure to mention the grant support of my project may lead to the return of the grant money and the rejection of future proposals.

Once finalized, I will send a copy of all related printed and/or electronic material (catalogues, programs, publicity, and press coverage, etc.) for my funded project to the Phenomenon Association. I understand that the Phenomenon Association has the right to share this material on websites, publications, press releases, social media and other channels.

I understand that all personal data submitted in the application process will be handled securely and used solely for grant evaluation purposes, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. I also understand that personal data will be retained for the duration of the grant cycle and up to one year after its completion, after which it will be securely deleted. By submitting this application, I confirm that all information provided is accurate and that any personal data shared has been done so with my knowledge and consent and the knowledge and consent of the individuals concerned. I will avoid including sensitive personal data unless strictly relevant to the project’s evaluation. If I include any third-party data, I confirm and take accountability that I have obtained their explicit consent.

I confirm that neither I nor any members of my organization, if applying on behalf of an organization, have any existing, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest with any member(s) of the selection committee. If I or a member of my organization has an existing, potential, or perceived conflict of interest in relation to any member(s) of the selection committee (e.g.,  close friendship, prior collaborations, advisory roles, financial transactions, given or received fees, given or received previous funding, artworks’ acquisitions or sales, or other forms of value transfer in either direction), I will disclose the details in my application. I understand that any disclosed conflict of interest will not penalize the submission at all but may only trigger additional transparency measures in the evaluation. 

I accept that the selection will be conducted by an appointed Committee.

I understand that this grant will not be used to fund start-up or operating costs of my organization.

I will use the grant funds solely for legitimate and lawful activities. I acknowledge that I am fully responsible for the activities carried out under the grant, and I agree to hold the grantor harmless from any legal, financial, or reputational consequences resulting from my actions or misconduct.

If I am a successful applicant, I may be invited to participate in meetings, events, or forums organized to present my funded project to broader audiences and foster connections and knowledge sharing.
