Chris is a photographic print tied to Vera Chotzoglou’s documentary SWEAT, which delved into the Athens underground rave scene, inside Tsiknotekno party, where a rave movement is being formed, under its original principles of P.L.U.R (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect). Following the path of two main figures – the resident DJ, FRO and the performance artist & club kid Reject 001. SWEAT explores and narrates different quests for the gender, body and society, through music and dance. A cinematographic journey into the night, desire and transformation.

The work was acquired in November 2024 through “Art Is (Not) For Sale / Free Palestine!”, a solidarity art sale organized by the Feminist Autonomous Centre for research in Athens to raise funds for Queers in Palestine and the Dismantle Damon campaign.
