Full Moon (Taking a Walk), 2007
When considering the work Full Moon (Taking a Walk), the question initially arises whether the entire arrangement of titles is fixed in form, whether individual titles can be extracted and combined in new ways, or whether it is precisely in the assembly itself that the work and the artist’s product reside. While the established, schematic arrangement of the exhibition titles initially gives a rigid and closed impression, the title of the work Full Moon (Taking a Walk) invites the search for inspiration. The viewer’s gaze drifts between the possible meanings of the titles, the imagination of exhibitions they might represent, and the memory of exhibitions they have seen. Detached from their original context, the titles also appear in their pure fictional form, forming an inexhaustible poetic continuum. The very act of attempting to orient oneself here already signals a continuation of the text.
