“What if the dead are still around, in our living places?”
Chopper fantasizes about the peacefulness of not existing as a human being. The translucent white figure sitting on a chair, on different patterned tiles, represents a memory of a person re-examining the moments in their life. “Corner of the Room” is Chopper’s mind palace.
This tapestry piece is part of Chopper’s art project called ‘home’, which investigates death, anxiety, and the way to live with the fear of uncertainty.
