Original model for the artist’s drawing piece ‘a place called home’. Chopper wanted control over the image he wanted to create, so he started by making his own reference model. This allowed him to see every angle, adjust the lighting, and spend as much time as he needed. Creating his own unique world from humble materials like cardboard helped him engage with craft alongside drawing itself, while also evoking his inner world and childhood fantasies.
