An experimental embroidery piece about the artist’s fantasy of being undead and living eternally, drawn from vampire characters like Dracula and Count Orlok. Chopper created several pieces exploring the idea of ‘home’ as death and the afterlife—“Even though it’s a scary concept, I just wish it would bring me the peace and comfort I’ve been looking for.”

While this fantasy is an escape for Chopper while dealing with personal struggles, it also reflects the fear of death and the attempt to make sense of life.
